The New Mexico Nurses Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, was founded in 2001.
The New Mexico Nurses Foundation is committed to fostering life-long learning of nurses in the form of scholarships to students, provision of Continuing Nursing Education activities based upon evidence-based, ethical nursing practice, and support of nursing research.
Since 2003 the NM Nurses Foundation has provided scholarships to NMNA members continuing their nursing education to complete BSNs and MSN, provided scholarships to basic students to attend Capitol Challenge, the annual legislative conference for nurses and nursing students, and supported the providing of Continuing Nursing Education activity of the New Mexico Nurses Association. The Foundation has also supported via grants, the efforts of the New Mexico Center for Nursing Excellence' efforts to honor Excellence in Nursing.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, contributions may be made the the New Mexico Nurses Foundation that can be deducted as charitable contributions on your taxes.
